About the desk
Open a file on one side and make notes on the other. Or keep a drawing beside your words. The Reader, The Page and The Draw share a desk, with the same shelves and tools they have on their own.
How do I arrange it?
Choose an instrument above either pane. Drag the line between them to change the space, or use its arrow keys. Swap sides exchanges the two; the expand button gives one instrument the whole desk. On a narrow screen the panes sit one above the other.
What happens when I switch instruments?
Your open file, notes and drawing stay here while this desk is open. Choose an instrument again to return to it. Choosing the instrument on the other side swaps the two. Sound stops when its instrument is put away.
Where is my work saved?
The desk keeps its own notes and drawing in this browser, separately from the standalone Page and Draw. Your arrangement is remembered too. Download anything you want to keep: clearing this browser’s site data clears its saved work.
Does it remember my open file?
The Reader keeps only your place. After closing or reloading the desk, open the file again to continue. Your document is read on your device and is never uploaded.
Can I use it offline?
After the instruments have finished saving for offline use, this desk can open without a connection. You can read local files, write and draw.
